I found this Mesdames et Messieurs checkers set at Centre Commercial in Paris, thinking I had hunted down something amazing for the kids in the far corners of the world. But when I came back I realized that it is readily available online, as most things are. Rafi, who is six and a total budding board gamer, was super into the DIY element, which is putting the faces on the pieces prior to use. I am super into how cute it is compared to a real checkers board. And Jon is super into it because it comes in a bag that you can put all the pieces in, making it travel-friendly. It’s key for an extra long plane ride or a snowy ski trip…or just some downtime at home. Tellement bon!
